Project Overview

Gridwatch was developed as a mission-critical response to the systemic infrastructure theft targeting South Africa’s energy sector. I designed and engineered a robust, high-availability web application that centralizes real-time surveillance and defensive countermeasures into a single command interface. The platform moves beyond passive monitoring by integrating active deterrents, including remote-triggered chemical deployment, high-decibel acoustic alarms, and automated perimeter lockdown protocols. Built for absolute reliability and rapid response, Gridwatch provides a centralized digital shield for high-value assets, ensuring that national infrastructure remains protected against coordinated criminal activity.
